Under The Boardwalk - Vice

Yesterday was the first shoot of 2009 and hopefully a strong direction to be heading in for the rest of the year.

A commissioned shoot for upcoming artists Nedry, around London.

The day started with a rather grinding train journey to London, with the usual foray with rude, badly mannered staff at Victoria and the one nutcase on the train choosing me to sit next to.

We managed to grab three locations in total covering a lot of miles. More shots will follow in the coming days. This is the first release shot taken under the boardwalk at Wapping, Thames River.

As every tug came past the wake was blasting the water closer in, we got covered in Thames slime but were lucky that the sun decided to peep through the clouds for twenty minutes. This was lucky as we nearly watched a light stand sail its way out to foreign shores.

The first day with my spanky new Sekonic light meter. It may possible have changed my life.
