Eva Spence has been jettersoned into the forefront of the underground media. The pint sized screamer is dextrous in her vocal abilities and moves around the stage in a manner I can only describe as A.D.D school disco mania.
Over the last 2 years, Rolo Tomassi have become one of the most critiqued bands on the UK circuit, praised by almost every publication birthed of these shores and found themselves as icons to the new breed of alternative acts.
Tonight it is apparent why.
Although the band seem to be lost on a larger stage than perhaps they have been used to in recent years, Eva Spence seems to engulf it all, an impressive feat for someone who is struggling to top 5foot.
Their spazzy-electronic hardcore screamo… it is impossible to explain what they are or what they sound like, which has been much of the appeal for many.
An excellent set which provided a necessary stretching exersice for the cardio-vascular work at that followed by Fucked Up and The Bronx.
