Newcomers to the scene Surfaces tore up Brighton Engine Room big time last Sunday with an intense debut. Their style sits firmly within the tech camp, with a vocalist, who very much reminded me of Mitch Lucker from Suicide Silence, who blew my mind last year on the Summer Slaughter Tour.

I was really excited to check these guys out after a hot tip from Open Tage, and they certainly didn’t dissapoint, blasting beats, axes drop down so low they were a semi-tone away from the brown note and the afformentioned vocalist with an almost operatic range with extreme growls and and screams.Surfaces - Engine Room 19.04.09
