Avangelist Photography gets onto BBC

BBC - Feature Story

Yesterday morning I spent some time with a reporter from the BBC who had read about my Trash Flavoured Trash = Trash Flavoured Trash project in Brighotn’s The Argus newspaper on Thursday.

After reading the article South Today, the regional program which forms part of the Six O’Clock News wanted to learn more about what I had been doing and why. I think in a similar way to The Argus reporter on initial chat with me I think she was quite suprised that I was not actually a crazy person, nor a pretentious artist harping on about some kind of sociological reference to our waste and it’s impact on the environment or some other such nonsense but instead a down to earth guy who was having a giggle.

And that is exactly what we did. We had a good laugh talking about various topics, discussing how the whole thing came about and what I was and wasn’t interested in, I hope that I made someones morning quite relaxing and enjoyable, if not a bit peculiar.

I figured why act like I am taking pictures when I can take the opportunity to rattle a couple off, hit below to see some of the images taken during the creation of this segment.

This is a section I had meaning to get for ages. I would be so pissed if I lived in one of these places and they’d dumped two busted up dumpsters outside my £900-1000 pound a month swanky central apartment.

Taking it back to ground level. At this point I think my ass was hanging out the back of my jeans and I was probably muttering something mental into the microphone.
