This happened a while back now, but I met up and spent the day with the reformed Earthtone9 to talk about past lives, best-of’s and why 2010 is a good time to return to the limelight.

The images accompany an interview I held with front man Karl Middleton for Thrash Hits, where you can read the interview in full. Since the story broke, the band have been confirmed for several headline festival appearances including Damnation Festival and Sonisphere Knebworth.

Sonisphere 2010 – T-shirt Promoshoot

Last week I got picked up for a last minute promoshoot for an ad campaign which is in this weeks Kerrang magazine, by Sonisphere 2010. The requirement was for a simplistic shoot to show off the t-shirts for the Knebworth leg of the international festival.

I would like to thank the models, Rach and Neil who were great to step up with just a few hours notice.

It was shot at Garage Studios in Brighton, using a Bowens Beauty dish and two gridded Bowens heads either side.

Still finding the build and performance of the Nikon D300s amazing.

Nedry – Sonar Festival 2010

Something very special. I am blessed with having an amazing family and over the last year it has been happening for my kid bro Matt and his companions Chris Amblin and Ayu, now quite well known as Nedry.

Last week they were asked by the BBC to go represent the UK at Sonar Festival in Barcelona playing the BBC Introducing stage. Their champion Huw Stephens interviewed them for both the web and radio and here it is for you all to watch.

Hulk Smash Tour Diary

What’s that? You thought I had gone?

Guess again. For the last 11 days I have been on tour with Brighton based Here There Be Monsters, courtesy of Black Match Records. I’ve been documenting the bands journey across the UK and it’s been one hell of a ride.

I am not going to say much, but there is a tour diary on Black Match Records, and photos everywhere. We’ve even shot a tonne of video (which I will be writing about very soon).

For now, here is the gallery for the Hulk Smash Tour. 11 days, 8 venues, 5 men and a completed busted to shit van.
