12.14.09365 – 385 =A short project that spanned 7 days in November 2009. I wanted to produce a sequence of images which told a story of a week through my eyes, the things I experience and what it is I am looking at whilst you glare at your feet ignoring everything else. Taken with a Nikon F60, ISO400 Ilford Black And White film through a 50mm lens, the challenge was to encapsulate an entire week depicting contrasts of morning noon and night in just 36 exposures. 10.03.09Avangelist Photography gets onto BBCYesterday morning I spent some time with a reporter from the BBC who had read about my Trash Flavoured Trash = Trash Flavoured Trash project in Brighotn's The Argus newspaper on Thursday. 06.19.09I make it bins O’clock!After 5 months of photographing waste bins, first just in Brighton, then across the country, its time to move on to something fresh. This is the final shot, taken this week and has a slightly unique element to it, in that it has been the only one which I have really concentrated on capturing. 03.27.09Creative Photography Final WeekCreative Photography Final Week Taken on the final night of the Garage Studios Creative Photography Course. I think it was around 9:45, well over the lesson time, something which has really proved the value and worth of the course. If you have a question about anything, lecturer's Kev Mason and Matt Halls are more than happy to spend the extra time explaining it. I have really really enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone. 03.26.09Creative Photography – the dawn of a new phaseTomorrow is the big end to the Creative Photography course run by Garage Studios. The last 2 months seem to have flown by and seems like it was snowing only yesterday. Here is the final picture, which has been made into a rather splendid 10x8 print for my project exhibition. I hope that everyone likes what I am going to do and that perhaps more than 1 person will get it. Tomorrow/Friday I will be posting up some more photos from the final day and my wall display.

03.21.09Creative Photography – Project FinaleThis week will see the final lesson on the Garage Studios run Creative Photography course. 8 Weeks have just flown by. I feel like there is going to be a big chasm from now on where my little Thursday night retreat once was. I love talking. I really do, I would much prefer to sit around in a small group and shoot the breeze about anything when the person you are listening to is choc full of passion and enthusiasm. 03.17.09Adventures in Photography – When you need a VALThis week I have been beavering away at an interesting assignment for the Creative Photography course at Garage Studios. Last weeks lesson we looked at some photographers who I am genuinly interested in. For me, street photography is shite. Possibly a contrasting statement being that my sole driving factor in photography is its journalistic properties, and this tends to be the primary driver behind the so called medium of street photography.
