04.30.10Terrathorn – promoshootTerrathorn accompanied Here There Be Monsters on the recent Hulk Smash tour which I was part of, documenting the tour and live shows for Black Match Records. The last date was in Brighton which proved the perfect opportunity to get the guys into some grimey spots for some new promoshots. They have a video for the excellent No Pets Allowed single coming out on Scuzz in the next couple of weeks.

04.08.10OpenTage Podcast and Brighton NewsI've just got back into HQ after an interview with Ali and Nathan of OpenTage for their May Podcast (subscribe through iTunes now). It was a really strange experience, I am not so used to being on the other side of the mic, but I think I managed to string at least one sensible sentence together. Surfaces - Engine Room, Brighton"][/caption] Went out to the first gig of the year on Sunday to watch the unstoppable Deathcore Surfaces with support from London Tech metal band The Safety Fire, post-hardcore The Roskov Landing and metalcore Among The Wolves at Engine Room in Brighton. Despite this being the last ever metal gig to be held at the pub because the bar staff complained that they did not like the 'type of people these shows bring in' and that it was 'too loud' it's farewell from the Brighton metal scene chapter was one of great significance. 12.07.09First video with Nikon D300sShot for Black Match Records TV, this is my first try with the Nikon D300s video capabilities. Shot during their support slot for Orange Goblin back at the beginning of November, I think it has come out pretty darn good! There are a few issues with the video quality, it suffers from scan lines where there are extreme altering light patterns, as a result it doesn't make it particularly idea for shooting from FOH like this, but I imagine on stage probably comes out quite nicely.
