09.05.10Gallows – Sonisphere Knebworth 2010Frank Carter, as always owned the crowd from the second he strutted onto the Bohemia stage at Sonisphere Knebworth. Some people may consider him to be a huge HUGE prick, but there is no denying that the bastard captivates the anger of the current generation of gig goers to the point where he can walk across peoples hands from one end of a festival tent to the other.

08.30.10BLKLSTRS – Black Listers, Prince Albert – Brighton 17.08.2010I went to watch Vile Imbeciles and Black Listers a few weeks back with Kevin Mason. I loved them so much I bought the CD's the Vinyl and got a t-shirt chucked in gratis. Black Listers have sort of reminded me why I liked live music in the first place. Best tune. Trick Fuck, think they said it was about some girl in Leeds, they may have given her address out, but it was so hot and sweaty that where I had scribbled it on my arm was just a smeary mess like a whores tear ridden face.

07.18.10Tim Smithen – KoreshTim Smithen of Koresh. I think this may possibly be my new favourite. Taken at The Hope, Brighton last week. Tim previously fronted Bognor based band Kill Keneda.

06.25.10Nedry – Sonar Festival 2010Something very special. I am blessed with having an amazing family and over the last year it has been happening for my kid bro Matt and his companions Chris Amblin and Ayu, now quite well known as Nedry. Last week they were asked by the BBC to go represent the UK at Sonar Festival in Barcelona playing the BBC Introducing stage. Their champion Huw Stephens interviewed them for both the web and radio and here it is for you all to watch.

05.25.10Narrows – The Underworld, Camden[gallery link="file" columns="4"] Narrows ended their European tour in London at the Camden Underworld. A great show, but a little quiet for my liking which was a shame. Excellent set and they blew the stage power.

04.30.10Terrathorn – promoshootTerrathorn accompanied Here There Be Monsters on the recent Hulk Smash tour which I was part of, documenting the tour and live shows for Black Match Records. The last date was in Brighton which proved the perfect opportunity to get the guys into some grimey spots for some new promoshots. They have a video for the excellent No Pets Allowed single coming out on Scuzz in the next couple of weeks.
